 Kent Corley is the fund development manager for Blood Bank of the Redwoods. Here, Kent gives an account of his experience in creating a video with Videobrite and more importantly, of the financial success of the video that has made for his organization.
Blood Bank of the Redwoods
Project Description: Full video production including pre- and post-production, project planning, shot list
and location scouting, shooting, video editing, music and sound, voice talent, and interactive DVD authoring.
Having worked with you on projects before I was confident that you would produce the quality production
I was looking for. To say that the finished product exceeded expectations would be an understatement, however.
Blood Bank of the Redwoods is a very complex organization to explain… Now we show people our 8 ½ minute
video and it conveys our history, our stories, our business and our community impact in such a way that
it touches people in an emotional way we otherwise couldn't reach.
Your vision of our script was far richer than we could have ever imagined on our own. The subtle details of music,
the transitions, the shots from your library and your concept of the anonymous donor combined to elevate
the project to the level of artwork.
I'm glad we listened to your recommendation and took the next step by making it an interactive DVD. It has allowed
us to tell many different stories and cater presentations to a wide variety of audiences. It is like an
entire presentation on a disk. Also, it is now a standard part of our new employee orientation for our Human Resources Department.

People are loving the video. My boss just wrote and said he was amazed at
the passion this video generates in people—he was overhearing someone
in the office smash his fist into his other palm as the person talked about
how the video would make our competitors quake in their boots…again. Good stuff.

First off, last week was my first week back in the office after traveling to 4 of the meetings that we
created videos for - I went to NY, Baltimore, Nashville, and Seattle, so I can say with
confidence that the videos were a hit nationwide. And now that everyone has had some
time to digest the program and how it worked out, we're definitely going forward with
doing these meetings on quarterly basis, including videos.
